Great stay in Panglao

Island World was a fantastic choice for our family of 4, with 2 older kids. The pools were relaxing, breakfast was fantastic (we highly recommend the cappuccinos!), staff were very friendly and helpful, and the courtesy shuttle was an amazing convenience. It was a short walk to restaurants in town and Alona beach, but the shuttle will drive you if you prefer.

We were happy with our choice and would recommend staying here, but just know that you will probably hear roosters and dogs barking, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. This is a reality for almost everywhere in the Philippines, and isn't in the control of the owners.

i absolutely loved our stay at island world. all of the staff are friendly and approachable. They accommodated all of our requests promptly. They gave good recommendations on the activities and even arranged our tour at the last minute. Rooms are clean and spacious. All of the food we tried are delicious and priced fairly. The place is quiet and away from the busy area of Alona. But easy to go to because of the free shuttle. This place is suitable for kids as well because of the nice pool. I will definitely be back.

Very pleasant but room for improvement!

The house is beautiful and the clean, Nice bathroom. The breakfast was amazing!!!

The accomodation was not well isolated so there was alot of noise like a rooster that cries in the middle of the night all night. Constrution workers that start early around the house. Not good for a good night sleep. The shower is luke warm not hot unfortunately. The bath looks good but when you sit or lay in it, the bath plug comes up so it runs empty. So the bathtub is not functioning at all. You get a kettle in the room to cook water and cups but no tea bags. If you want a teabag you have to pay for it!!! That doesnt make sense and is bad service!!!

Amazing stay, especially with the kids. Staff fantastic and very friendly. We will definitely stay again if we ever go b

The staff are outstanding! The owner Neils is very hands on and made sure our stay was top notch. We loved having many chats with him. The pools were great. Could do laps and the kids loved it. We stayed in house 10. Garden view but literally 7m away from pool. Could still watch the kids through the door and window. It was a good location, nice and quiet away from the road and busy Alona beach. If you want picture perfect beach head up to White Palm resort. We spent the whole day eating, swimming and relaxing in beautiful scenery. They also provide free shuttle to and from airport and if you need to go into town or anywhere local. The food was limited but delicious.

They didn’t have a bar and serve cocktails. (I know first world problems hahah) They had a fridge with some beers soft drinks and mixed alcohol drinks. Which was totally fine but would have been a great addition if they served drinks.

Lovely place with super nice pools and comfortable cottages. There is a free shuttle service that takes you anywhere in town you want to go or pick you up. Great breakfast options and good menu. Niels and staff are always there to help!

No wardrobe in the room, but there was a coat rack outside that we moved in, so we could hang some of our clothes.

Friendly staff and awesome resort in Panglao

The pool was amazing! Ths staff were super helpful and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and affordable. Everything was priced very fairly, including the massages, day trips and food.

The bed was uncomfortable and the blankets and pillows were super limited, small and thin, however when we asked for more we did get more. The shelving/storage in the bathroom is very limited.

Affordable and Clean

The resort is great, very clean and accessible. There are a lot of really good restaurants within walking distance from the resort. The staff is absolutely accommodating and friendly. And the resort food is great too!

The first couple of days, there was a problem with the water in the bathroom, but it was resolved on the 3rd and 4th day.

Owner Neils and the staff are super nice and helpful. The hotel has scooters to rent that is cheaper than other rentals

Property was clean and beautiful.

Only thing wasn’t that big of a deal, but there isn’t a sign on the main road to know where to turn off of to find the hotel. The road to the hotel can be easily passed off if you didn’t take note of where the hotel is.

Mostly everything. Great staff and shuttle. I would return for sure!

Cold temperature lights. You could have warmer light bulbs for a more premium feel. The wifi in the last villa is very week.
